The ocean is not defined by the innumerable waves that are created, sustained and transformed by it, ceaselessly. Nor is it characterised by the beings that dwell within or make use of it outside.
But the waves that appear from, move away and get drawn back into the ocean will always remain a part of it, irrespective of how mighty or nondescript, beautiful or destructive, noisy or quiet, each wave is.
Vast, deep, boundless, mysterious and obviously beyond the limited perception, the ocean simply exists the way it is, from time immemorial, and will remain so, till time ceases to exist!
